Invitation to the Exhibition of "Applied Arts – Social Integration of People with Disabilities"
On October 31, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Association "Ika-21" and the Irakli Kemoklidze Day Center invite you to the closing event of the project "Applied Arts – A Path to Social Integration for People with Disabilities."
The event will showcase handmade gift souvenirs and decorations crafted from fabric and felt materials by young adults with disabilities from our center's Applied Arts Workshop, including: various hair accessories, silk scarves, necklaces, earrings, bags, table runners, and New Year’s table decorations, as well as unique felt bottle holders and candy boxes.
This event marks the culmination of a project funded by Tbilisi City Hall's Department of Culture, Education, Sports, and Youth Affairs. Its goal was to teach sewing techniques and creative skills to young adults with disabilities, developing their talents through applied arts therapy.
