Italy-Georgia cooperation, future plans, prospects The founder and head of the association - "IKA-21" and Italian volunteer Chiara Borgia met with the Italian Ambassador to Georgia Massimiliano D'antuono. The purpose of the meeting was to deepen cooperation on issues of persons with disabilities and discuss future prospects. The meeting held at the Italian Embassy was very interesting, comprehensive and full of new opportunities. The Italian Ambassador learned with great interest and attention about the activities of the association,,IKA-21’’, the history of the work of civil activist, disabled youth, Irakli Kemoklidze, who changed the lives of many disabled people for the better, abolished the restrictive system of incapacity based on the decision of the Constitutional Court and initiated the transition of the system of incapacity in Georgia to a social model. Massimiliano D'antuono got acquainted with the projects implemented by the Association,,IKA-21’’, the activities of Italian volunteers in Georgia, the activities planned by our organization and future plans, and expressed a desire for bilateral cooperation. The Italian Ambassador emphasized Italy’s experience in protecting the rights of persons with disabilities and expressed his readiness, in order to share experience, to support projects that will improve the formation of an inclusive society in Georgia. The meeting noted the need to strengthen cooperation with international organizations and the importance of joint initiatives. Cooperation between Italy and Georgia in the field of persons with disabilities, sharing successful international practices is important for improving social inclusion, equality and accessibility standards. @ikaassociation21 იტალია- საქართველოს თანამშრომლობა,სამომავლო გეგმები, პერსპექტივები ასოციაცია - "იკა-21" დამფუძნებელი და ხელმძღვანელი და იტალიელი მოხალისე კიარა ბორჯა იტალიის ელჩს საქართველოში მასიმილიანო დენტუანოს შეხვდნენ. შეხვედრის მიზანი იყო შშმ პირთა საკითხებზე თანამშრომლობის გაღრმავება და სამომავლო პერსპექტივების განხილვა.იტალიის საელჩოში გამართული შეხვედრა ძალიან საინტერესო,მრავლისმომცველი და ახალი შესაძლებლობებით დატვირთული იყო. იტალიის ელჩი დიდი ინტერესითა და ყურადღებით გაეცნო ასოციაცია,,იკა-21’’ საქმიანობას, სამოქალაქო აქტივისტის,შშმ ახალგაზრდის,ირაკლი ქემოკლიძის მოღვაწეობის ისტორიას, რომელმაც არაერთი შშმ პირის ცხოვრება შეცვალა უკეთესობისკენ,საკონსტიტუციო სასამართლო გადაწყვეტილების საფუძველზე გააუქმა ქმედუუნარობის შემზღუდველი სისტემა და სათავე დაუდო ქმედუნარიანობის სისტემას საქართველოში , სოციალურ მოდელზე გადასვლას. მასიმილიანო დენტუანო გაეცნო ასოციაცია,,იკა-21’’ მიერ განხორციელებულ პროექტებს, იტალიელი მოხალისეების მოღვაწეობას საქართველოში, ჩვენი ორგანიზაციის მიერ დაგეგმილ აქტივობებსა და სამომავლო გეგმებს,გამოითქვა ორმხრივი თანამშრომლობის სურვილი. იტალიის ელჩმა ხაზი გაუსვა იტალიის გამოცდილებას შშმ პირთა უფლებების დაცვის კუთხით და გამოთქვა მზადყოფნა, გამოცდილების გაზიარების მიზნით, ხელი შეუწყოს პროექტებს, რომლებიც გააუმჯობესებს საქართველოში ინკლუზიური საზოგადოების ჩამოყალიბებას,შეხვედრაზე აღინიშნა საერთაშორისო ორგანიზაციებთან თანამშრომლობის გაძლიერების საჭიროება და ერთობლივი ინიციატივების მნიშვნელობა. იტალიასა და საქართველოს შორის თანამშრომლობა შშმ პირთა მიმართულებით , წარმატებული საერთაშორისო პრაქტიკის გაზიარება მნიშვნელოვანია სოციალური ინკლუზიის, თანასწორობისა და ხელმისაწვდომობის სტანდარტების გაუმჯობესებისთვის. დიდი მადლობა იტალიის საელჩოს,Ambasciata D'Italia In Georgia, იტალიის ელჩს მასიმილიანო დენტუანოს ნაყოფიერი და საინტერესო შეხვედრისთვის. 🇮🇹🤝🇬🇪 Italy & Georgia join forces for a brighter future for people with disabilities!
