data-contrast=\"auto\">And<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">Management<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">Skills<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">Development<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">Support; Help improve social skills, develop self-confidence and independence, improve functional skills. Therapy sessions and activities are planned in such a way as to help improve the communication and behavioral skills of young people with disabilities.\u00a0<\/span><span the Irakli Kemoklidze Day Center, the psychologist&#039;s hour - group therapy was dedicated to the expression of emotions and feelings, the difference between them. Young people with disabilities were explained that emotions are instinctive responses to what is happening around them. Emotions push us towards physical action, feelings can be subjective and depend on a person&#039;s emotional experience. Therapy for the expression of emotions and feelings plays an important role in the development of their communication, self-expression and social skills in persons with disabilities. Difficulties in emotional self-expression can be caused by both physical and intellectual and psychosocial barriers, which is why it is necessary to use therapeutic methods adapted to them. During group therapy, emotion cards were used, which contain facial expressions and relevant texts, which helped persons with disabilities identify feelings and emotions. Situational examples were discussed and their supporting strategies were outlined.
