Our team

Maia Asakashvili - the leader of the organization. She is a journalist, philologist, and a specialist with a background in inclusive opportunities. Maia is an expert in the field of inclusive education and a doctoral candidate in pedagogical sciences. She is the author of several scientific works, publications in oil magazines, and a radio presenter. Leader of the "Ika" organization, which stands for individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families. In addition, she founded and directs "Sxivi" (Rainbow), a social center, and directs multiple social projects. She actively participates in the movement for the rights and development of people with disabilities, as well as being a prominent leader. Maia holds various certifications, international prizes, and diplomas in her sphere. She is the initiator of several legal initiatives and worked in collaboration with Irakli Chemoklize for reforming the system in Georgia.
