Art Therapy and Creative Activities for Young People with Disabilities

Art therapy and various creative activities were held in the open space of the Irakli Kemoklidze Center of the Association "Ika-21".
The participating young people with disabilities tried their hand at drawing, creating applications and working with a constructor. The practical task of sewing a doll's head out of fabric aroused particular interest, during which the young people went through various operations in stages. Activities held in open spaces are of great importance for people with disabilities, as they contribute to: the development of creative skills, strengthening social integration, freedom of self-expression and receiving positive emotions.
