Garden Activities at the Irakli Kemoklidze Day Center for Youth with Disabilities

At the Irakli Kemoklidze Day Center, our youth with disabilities participate daily in garden activities that play a crucial role in improving their mental and emotional well-being. Caring for flowers, interacting with plants, and nurturing them requires not only physical effort but also contributes to achieving spiritual harmony. These garden activities have a particularly positive impact, as interacting with plants can be considered a form of therapy, just as important and effective as interacting with pets or other people.

Our diligent youth, along with foreign volunteers, tend to the garden with great love and responsibility. This process allows them to develop a sense of responsibility and self-confidence, while interaction with plants enhances their focus and sense of calm. Such activities promote positive changes in their daily lives, ultimately contributing to their complete integration and personal growth.

Association "Ika-21" offers a variety of garden activities at the Irakli Kemoklidze Day Center, providing our members with true inspiration and a source of motivation for work.

This is how we take care of the yard and garden of the Irakli Kemoklidze day care center together with the teachers and Italian volunteers!
