Sport activities

Sports activities are intensively held at the Irakli Kemoklidze Day Center. Sports activities are not only a means of entertainment and physical activity for people with disabilities, they actively contribute to physical, cognitive and social development. Movement coordination develops, hand-eye coordination and body control develop during bowling and throwing the ball into the basket. The musculoskeletal system strengthens, lifting, throwing and hitting the ball helps strengthen muscles and joint flexibility, improves overall physical endurance and helps to spend energy correctly. Catching a bowling ball and controlling movement develops hand motor skills, while throwing the ball into the basket develops movement accuracy and mobilization of force.
